In anticipation of the American Sail Training Association’s 2006 TALL SHIPS CHALLENGE® Great Lakes Race Series which begins in June 2006, world renowned tall ship photographer Thad Koza will tour 13 Great Lakes communities during the month of May where he will present an hour-long presentation focusing on the 15 - 17 tall ships participating in the 2006 Great Lakes TALL SHIPS CHALLENGE® series.
Each of the vessels will be portrayed in several slides, and accompanied by ship details and data, and occasional anecdotal tales relating to the vessels.
Thad will also present the ports of call and festival dates for the summer of 2006 in Lake Erie, Lake Huron, and Lake Michigan. A “Q & A” session will follow at the conclusion of the slide presentation.
All of the presentations are free and open to the public, though checking with the local contact will ensure seating.
