ASTA Education Station

The ASTA Education Station is a fun, exciting and informative place for kids, families and adults to visit for ongoing maritime-themed educational activities and programs and to learn about tall ships and sail training. Drawing on the expertise of ASTA staff/volunteers, ASTA member vessel officers/crew, the Education Station provides a diverse offering of programs.   Additionally, the Education Station creates a venue for local educational, historical and cultural institutions to showcase their programs.   There will be a mixture of lectures, arts and crafts and nautical lore.   From Sea Shanty groups to ‘round-the-world sailors there is something for everybody.
