My name is Elizabeth and I attend Bates College where I am a Studio Art major.   I have studied abroad in Ghana and Florence.   I love water of all sorts and am excited to be spending my summer traveling with ASTA exploring the East Coast by land and by sea!

My name is Jessica (Jess) and I am 21 years old.   I just recently graduated from Fairfield University with a bachelor's degree in Communications.   I love traveling and meeting new people and I can't wait for my adventure to begin as a part of the ASTA crew!   Sailing on the tall ships will be a completely new experience for me and will surely bring new opportunities and challenges.   I can't wait to get started!

My name is Kevin and I am from Nashua, NH.   I am currently a cadet and midshipman in the Navy Reserves at Massachusetts Maritime Academy on Cape Cod, MA.   My love for the ocean and the ships that sail on it goes back to my childhood years.  My first experience sailing was on the USCG Barque Eagle while attending the US Coast Guard Academy in 2000.   I am extremely excited to be participating with ASTA this summer and I look forward to learning a lot and meeting new people from around the world.

Hi!   My name is Rebecca and I am an ASTA summer intern!   I recently graduated with a degree in English and Sociology from University of Vermont.   I enjoy music, reading, writing and outdoor activities such as skiing.   I'm really excited to be out on the water this summer as part of the ASTA race team.   I decided to join the team so I can travel to interesting places, learn about the history of the tall ships, and sail!
